Guillermo Navarrete Davis is a self-taught painter from Santiago de Chile. Specializing in portraiture, his work focuses on the often overlooked stories of marginalized people. The realism, the purity, and the sincerity of the sentiment expressed in the faces of his subjects are his source of inspiration. Each of his works tells a story, revealing the raw truth and enduring depth of the human condition.

Although he has only been exhibiting for the past two years, he has been experiencing much success, including  winning “Juror’s Choice,” “Spotlight Artist,” and “Featured Emerging Artist” in the East Bay Open Studios, “Best of Show” at the Museum of Northern California, 1st Place with a purchase award at Epperson Gallery “From the Heart” exhibit, as well as being invited to a number of juried expositions in California and New Mexico.
